I was very happy with my earlier HP 11" Chromebook, but after I unfortunately deluged it in port it has ever since failed to turn on and 12 months later is still a bit sticky to the touch. I replaced it with a 15" Acer Chromebook, but decided that a lighter, smaller one would be great as a spare and to use when travelling. As I spend quite a lot of time browsing the internet - emails and online newspapers mainly - the Chromebook's speed at this task and the simple matter of turning on is great for me and much less frustrating than my old PC. After some past problems I have even managed to load up photos from my Blackberry using a USB cable and the the "Files" App on Google. As a treat, I have recently taken the Chromebook to Berlin and as it was very well-behaved it will be accompanying me to Rome at the end of the month.Read full review

I got this on the strength of its claim it was good for writers, which is my primary use for my computer. Totally useless! Didn't save ny work, no desktop or shortcuts and the apps are crap! The one specifically designed for writers is not user friendly at all! The other apps are online, meaning it refused to open files on the hard drive or import them. I swapped it for a computer with windows and have never been happier! Avoid this at all costs!

Wanted it to browse the web and use google documents for work. No waiting for it to load up because there is no windows loading to slow it down. Hany size and very light. Ideal for work and no charger to take because the battery has lasted for 2 days. Does just what i needed and so glad i bought it.
