These are plastic coated steel which is much better than the cheaper plastic only version you see being cold for less. I use these clips all the time to prevent not only my trousers getting dirty but also to avoid insects from the ground getting up my trousers when mowing long grass and doing other jobs like using a strimmer.

Product was nicely packed and the trouser clips look well enough made. In use on me, the clips just do not seem tight enough to remain in position, with some slippage downwards and trouser bottoms almost coming loose. I have done a bit of a modification with a rubber band which can just about fit around the hook ends. This now keeps everything in position.

They are covered in a plastic dipped coating which I don't care for, and don't slide when fitting, and two different sizes. Assumed, wrongly, that they would be plain steel. But very cheap, so real problem.

Very good quality. Does not snap like previous ones. Very good price. Took a little bit too long to come. But would recommend and would buy again."

Unfortunately you get what you pay for with these cycle clips. They are very thin metal and haven't much spring in them. The first time i wore them one came flying off as I started pedalling and refused to stay on. In their defence I was wearing quite thick work trousers.
