I have to say I was reluctant to try such a device but have already tried all other types of collar. This collar has to be set up as per the instructions paying particular attention to the sensitivity control. Once set up I would advise that you try it on your self before the dog as this will reassure you that you are not doing anything cruel to your beloved pet, My particular dog is a rescue dog and for the six months since we got her she has ran around the house and garden in a hysterical manner barking at the top of her voice at any distant sound. We have tried to treat her to stop barking,we have shouted at her, squirted her with water pistols,Citronella collar, you name it and nothing would stop her so we had become completely frazzeled and so had out other rescue dog which is why she ended up in the rescue center in the first place! After testing and setting up this collar she gets a free bark then the collar wakes up she barks again and she gets a short beep, bark again and a longer one up to three beeps, Next bark she gets a shock which is akin to a static charge when you touch the car sometimes. This is a short one and the next bark will increase the length but not the strength up to 5 then it will reset. My dog was shocked twice and ever since then I am amazed to say that she is quiet as a mouse after the first beep and knows now to then shut up! This is a smart processor in the device that trains the dog to be quiet and it really works very quickly indeed and after the first couple of shocks it becomes just a reminder for her. Is it cruel? well it is cruel to have a dog that is constantly being told off and its cruel to have a dog that puts everyone in a bad mood including our other dog and not forgetting all the people who live near us and since getting the collar the dog is happier because she lies in the garden and chooses not to bark at all the sounds of the district and is starting to become more relaxed. This devise has basically saved all of our sanity and made our lovely dog a pet we can enjoy all the time without all the stress and noise she used to generate and all this for just under £7 amazing!!!Read full review

What would make it better mmm well if it actually worked then that would be a great start but it doesn’t seems to work when it wants to and not everytime dog barks 3times plus so basically giving dog a shock every now and then for no reason as dog isn’t associating shock with barking as it doesn’t always work so perhaps one day there will be a product that actually will work that won’t cost a small fortune. As the saying goes I guess you get what you pay for don’t you. My bad and sorry to my dog for giving you shocks that didn’t help you only gave you more discomfort and me a massive feeling of being guilty of unintentionally being cruel to my amazing dog whose only fault is she won’t stop barking at everything on two legs four legs wings no wings

Hasn't worked on stopping my dog from going ballistic if anyone comes to the door or walks past the window,. He doesn't even flinch when it buzzes then shocks, just keeps on Barking.

Well I didnt think it would work, but it does. We used to shout at our dog because she would bark at anything and when the kids went to school in the morning. It just stressed us all out and I thought its not fair us keep shouting at her as well. I had tried the spray and training but it didnt work. It really is quieter now.

My Border collie was barking when being let out, it was just excitement but was at 6am so I had to try something different because nothing else worked. so I tried this collar. It has worked a treat he has had it on now for a week and I have seen huge improvement, he thinks about barking now and sometimes barks then gets a beep and stops. So good signs, I am very impressed so far.
