I wanted to make sure that whichever kit I picked up to use I had batteries and a compatible charger. Purchased this after buying some Dewalt 5ah batteries. I already have the DCB113 charger but this is better suited to my 2ah batteries but this took around an hour & a half to fully charge the 5ah batteries and got very hot whilst charging. However the DCB115 isn't that much quicker and also heats up just the same. If I'd have known I would have gone for the DCB118 which is also capable of charging the Dewalt Flexvolt range of batteries and has a cooling fan built in.
