The set top box is really good, as with all these things the setup involved a lot of faffing. I have a gripe and it's a big one. The mild steel bracket holding the dish is very thin and weak, it bends under the dish's weight.

A little fiddly to set up but once it is sorted it does exactly what you want which is give you access to Freesat,in the UK, not tried with any other satellite yet. A few things to be aware of. I couldn't get the suction pad to stick no matter what i tried but as I was using it in my caravan I just pegged it to the ground and it was fine. There are no U brackets with the wall mount so if you want to fix it onto a tripod you will need these and the satellite finder comes with a separate black knob which is used to fine tune the meter strength when you are fine tuning the dish with the satellite, this is loose and I managed to lose it within 10 mins of starting my set up and there is no other way of modulating the satellite tuner I can fine so beware! All that said, £75 all in is great value.Read full review

The dish was set up at home, without using the suction mount on the caravan roof as the house was obstructing the correct positioning of the dish, so a tripod may be useful in future where the signal onto the caravan roof may be obstructed. It was fastened to a fence at the side of the house and by using the compass and finder provided was quickly and easily set up and provided excellent reception of tv and radio signals into the caravan. This would have been an excellent piece of kit on the last two sites we used, as no terrestrial signal could be obtained, but the use of a dish would have solved the reception problem. Well worth the money.
