    Being adjustable makes this worth buying

    Works well. So many lights with built in sensors work well in detection of movement but then switch off the light after 30 seconds with no possibility of adjustment for the delay. This pir is adjustable and allows for a time period of my choosing.

    failing units

    i purchased seven of these items of which two failed to work and i informed you of this and had no reply, but because i need them i purchased another two to replace the defective ones and now another one has stopped working. i am very disappointed at the reliability of these units and the fact that you did not reply to my first request, Keith Lawley

    Works well

    Very good quality product that works really well. Very easy to fit. My only observation is that the calibration on the adjusting screws is not accurate, a good place to start but needs trial and error to get exactly what you want.

    Good value works well.

    Had one before it cost twice as mutch as this one and lasted 5 years. Hope this latest longer. Can be difficult to wire if you have more than one light on the unit. Over all the unit works well as good as the most expensive ones. It is important to get the correct one for the job.

    Small but not miniature.

    I put this detector in my downstairs loo because the light seems to get left on. It switches on very readily and stays on for an adjustable period after it last senses a person. But if a person sits quietly on the loo it will go out. So I’ve got it set to about 2 minutes. That way it will stay on for two mins after a person enters and only goes off if they sit still for more than two mins or after a period of two mins after they have left. It doesn’t detect people who are not moving. It also has a daylight setting that prevents it triggering if it is in daylight. The threshold is adjustable. Good value and more than just a gimmick, but better if it would sense a person who is not moving.
