This unit works great! The connections were easy to hook up. It makes hot water instantaneously. With the fixed nozzle spray, a 5 gallon shower is in order. I wouldn't think you would need more water than that in a tight water situation. You have $20.00 of high quality brass fittings. You have a hose and regulator valve with connections on both ends, easily $25.00 if you had to buy it separately. The shower nozzle is either on/ off, another $15.00 value. Heat is only applied to the burner section when the shower nozzle is on. If you shut the shower nozzle, the burner immediately goes off. No waste of gas. Once you open the shower nozzle again, you will hear the igniter lighting the burner up again. The power that supplies the igniter is supplied by 2D size batteries located at the bottom left of the unit. I simply love this unit!Read full review

i bought it and im glad i did! Family went Camping. They wanted a warm shower so i searched and came across this. coupled with the Eccoflo pump. some vinyl hose and my portable 12v booster. it was heaven. specially after a hot sweaty day of camp! (isnt that daily?) The Eccoflo pump made the water flow just right to get the lightest heat in the water. Just perfect! Even the fussiest person we had didnt have anything but goodness to say about it. You need to bring propane. you can probably use the small ones too if you can find the adapter. We bought a cheap 27 gal container to hold the water and it was good enough for 5 quick showers. you stop the flow while lathering up of course. We even brought some wire grids to act as walls and tarps as walls for privacy. fist size stones laid together to make a shower floor at camp. i thought it would make a muddy mess at camp but it didnt. ground quickly soaked it up and was pretty much dry next day. i made sure to shake out the water out of the heater after usage and let it dry before i put it away. now part of my camping (glamping?) gear! it all fits a 17Gal container from HD. except the propane and grids of course!Read full review

The water heater arrived quickly and was well packaged. The listing stated that the original package had been damaged and they hooked the unit up to make sure that it worked properly. I looked it over and found all of the parts were there and the unit looks undamaged and brand new. I only gave it four stars because I have not been able to hook it up and test it because of the weather. But after inspecting it, I have no doubt that it will work as promised.

This is absolutely amazing. I have been using one of these for over two years as my permanent hot water source and it never failed on me. The two D batteries lasted for over two years. Although the manufacturer did not intend it for permanent mount, I connected it to my entire house plumbing and I have hot water everywhere, in the kitchen, shower, bathroom. Thank you Eccotemp for helping me save thousands of dollars. I highly recommend this product.

I would like to can arrange a temperature I , the problem I have is that the minimum preset temperature is high enough and when I try to blending with water taps stops the thermostat and this results in the hot water or cold . Result turning the switch and flashes the thermostat in order to exploit the lukewarm water . I mention all this because the use is for shop trailer for the bathroom of children . I should therefore like This specificity refers to the sale of the product .
