Much smaller than most name brands, but that has one benefit, the bigger ones take more than one oulet. These could be squezzed side by side with no loss of outlets. I can't speek for their durability or safetyness yet, but even if they last half as long as the name brands, they are still worth it because it takes at least 4 of these to even out the price of the recomended ones.

Maybe its because I don't have the patience to learn the finer details about how to make pedals like this work for me. In the past I have thought I was saving myself money by getting multiple effects in one pedal. Now I am more inclined to spend the extra cash to have one specific pedal that does exactly what I want it to do. The Boss ME-25 is a good effects pedal for the money. I like the loop, pitch shift, and freeze. I dont like having to adjust through so many settings to get what I want. In short, with my level of understanding, this is a fun toy. Not the most effective tool for what I want to do.

bought this pedal to replace a ME-20 because im playing thru a Bose L1-model 2 no more lugging a amp to gigs. This unit has amp modeling that the me20 doesn't.Many great sounding patches, although I'll probably never use more than 6. [mid 50s playing classic rock, country & standards] This pedal has a pretty long learning curve compared to the ME-20, and i dont like having to scroll up & down to patches, the ME-20 has banks of 3, which are convenient for live situations. all this being said I used the pedal on a gig after only 1 hour of shedding with it. I still keep the ME-20 in my bag though. all n all a very useful piece of gear.
Love this pedal. Has more effects than i will ever use, but it is nice to have them all there when i want them. The cosm amp modeling feature is a bonus. Wah is great. For me this pedal does it all. I use it mainly for distortion, and some delay. Clean Jazz sound, and wah. The main thing is to customize your sounds, store them, and know where they are. Fun to play with and explore, but also reliable for the sounds I want. Great pedal!
I was sick of my stomp boxes, akward pedals, patch cords, velcro patches, battery replacements and cheap "hold it all " boards..I needed an all in one solution. The Boss ME-70 is just what I needed ! Amp modeling, distortion, phase, compression, harmonizer, volume / wah pedal, delay and a loop ! Quick plug and play product. Pre programed sound setups are great and accurate. Easy to use pedal switches. High quality live sound. No monkey business. Easy to use. Kind of hard to read in the dark and dim lights.... I have used many put together groups of stomp box , pedal setups and racks, but for just going out and playing ,or just using at home ,The ME- 70 is the easiest to understand and best sounding setup I have used. I would recommend this to any leval player.
