This in my view is the best Humax availlable as it is so easy to use. The later model (which I also have) is worse in many respects - the interface has been totally changed, for no good reason. Foe example, I now have to press a button four times to play a recording, compared to twice on the previous model. This model has the very useful facility to advance the EPG by 24 hours at a time, which has been removed on the newer model.

Really pleased with my purchase. Read up about it first as wanted a good quality easy to use model and Humax PVR9200T ticked all the boxes. Was even more pleased as seller lived in Norfolk and arranged personal delivery the following day thus avoiding postage! I've found it enhances my picture quality from previous set top box and is simple to set up record, play back etc. Has several good features and will look forward to viewing my photos on it too.
This is the third PVR I've owned, and I can see why Humax has its reputation as a market leader. The best thing is how responsive it is compared with others. It has an excellent feature set, and has so far proved to be highly reliable at making recordings - something the previous two were not so good at. The model may be several years old, but it's light years ahead of more recent stuff from other, cheaper brands. Well worth having.
I would have had to buy a new Umax and lost all my archive vids, this is a no brainer for £10 approx go get one!
