I was previously using a Remington R-5150, with the three rotary heads. This Braun razor gives a noticeably closer shave than the Remington. It is also kinder to the skin. With the Remington I found it would catch the loose skin on my neck unless I used a lubricant, but I do not have that problem with the Braun. One respect in which the Remington is superior is in the battery level indicator. The Remington has a series of lights to show the level in 20% stages from 0 to 100%, but the Braun has only a single light which flashes when the level is low. That is why I have given it 4 stars instead of 5.

I have been using electric shavers of many brands and types for almost 70 years including Braun S 3's, which I previously thought and reviewed as giving the best shave ever! This one just did not do the job at all and was returned immediately for a full refund which was received promptly.

A great value razor that provides a close shave. The battery life is also decent. My only problem is if you want a close shave you will have to repeatedly run over the same area many times in order to get that smooth skin feeling. Another point worth noting is that the razor comes with an EU charger (two pin adapter) even though I’m from the UK.

This is the second Braun 310 shaver I have bought as it has been very reliable and has given no problems over several years. The old one is still going and have replaced the head several times but as they are now almost the price of a new shaver , I decided to replace.

Very smooth and close Shave. Wet and Dry feature is good. Washable so no cleaners required which you would normally have to buy.
