This was branded as ‘new’ so I bought it in good faith for a gift. I don’t doubt it wasn’t new as it was still in its cellophane wrapping but unfortunately there’d been a big hand written sticker saying £4.50 which had been peeled off but was still very visible. So unable to give as a gift. It was good value purchase as very reasonable but just disappointed with that aspect.

A brilliant DVD as with the other Baby Einstein DVD's. They seem to capture the attention of children wonderfully. My little boy loves the four we have. When watching them he'll quite often be looking at the screen, then he'll look at me with a smile on his face, and then look back to the screen. We don't like him just watching TV (at least not often and not for long), but these are bright, colourful and educational on a very simple level esepcially for babies.
I had heard so much about the Baby Einsten DVD's, all good feed back, so I thought of trying one out, I looked at them in the high street shops and was horrified about the price so I turned to E bay, I brought Van Gough world of colours for my 6 month old daughter to try, she liked the first five minutes of it but then got bored, however in time I am sure she will like it. I would say its a nice DVD for backround music. I have not tried out any others and would not be too keen on spending a fortune on them, but I suppose it would be personal preference, my daughter enjoys watching Sponge Bob Square pants and sucking her toes...so until she reaches 9 months plus I will leave Spnge Bob on and put Van Gough away.....Van Gough may be better in a few months time. On a good note...I would say the DVD would be very calming and educational if your baby can stay focused for the duration.Read full review
This is an ideal and educational dvd for young children (around 1-3 years old). Children and fictional puppet characters are used to introduce different colours with objects and situations appearing in that colour. The theme is around Van Gogh's paintings so many of them are shown in the video. The classical music played throughout makes it very relaxing to watch and appeals to my little one. Overall this is an enjoyable (approx 20mins in length) dvd and great for keeping little ones entertained.
