Nikon 1 J1 albeit has only an image resolution of 10.1MP it gets very good photographic images with its standard jit lens of 10-30mm. But where this excells is in the macro format of up close photography as in flora and fauna (my speciality) so to me this is one of the best camera's that i have bought recently. If you don't want to carry around huge lenses and bulky camera's then try a compact mirrorless camera you will not be disappointed.
