    Proper Volt stick

    As an electrician these are good for a quick voltage check (never trust one 100% always use an approved device before touching conductors) to see if a plug fuse has blown or is a light switch is getting power to it. Some cheap ones light up at any opportunity. I have a fluke volt pen which can pick up a single wire in a joint box but isn't any good on a plastic light switch. These pens are identical to another brand in yellow & black. Also on this model it has a bleeper so when you are using it outdoors in sunlight it still verifies. The small flashlight is ok for close up work.
