This guitar is very well made for the price range that it sits in, it is a 2014 build date, neck is very comfortable and a good low action can be achieved if required, the finish is tidy with care taken around the neck to body and binding area which can get overlooked. The Addition of the coil tap is an interesting diversion to normal use. overall I am extremely impressed and would like to get a sunburst version and put some Humbucker sized P90's in. Now that would make a fantastic pair of guitars to have.

Nice guitar for the price with a good quality look and feel. It has enough unplugged volume for a bedroom acoustic and the pickups are impressive at this price point. The neck is stated as “1960's SlimTaper D-shape”. It feels slightly chunkier but still comfortable. However, straight out of the box several issues needed attention: • the truss rod needed adjustment to correct a back-bow. • The fret ends were poorly finished and had to be dressed. • The bridge was low quality. I replaced it with a compatible Gotoh bridge. • Lemon oil treatment improved the fretboard. • Finally, I replaced the dreadful stock strings with a decent set. In conclusion, these were easy DIY jobs and this is now a very good guitar which sounds great and is comfortable to play. At around one-fifth the price of the Gibson equivalent this is a no-brainer if you’re looking for a competent, affordable small-bodied semi. Read full review
