Great idea spoiled by insufficient thread on the feeder. A heavier bird will pop it off the bottle and your feed will be on the ground. Recommend a length of tape as extra security wrapped around the joint. Enjoy!

Well after getting the bottles from my neighbours then found it really difficult to fill the bottle with bird food so eventually I ended up slicing a hole half way down big enough so I could fill the bottle up with food then stuck some gaffa tape to seal the hole then fitted the plastic attachment bird feeder then hung it up and sat back and watched the birds feed from it they love it

What a great product at such a reasonable price. No cleaning of feeders, just change the bottle. I am using a smaller, lighter bottle for easier hanging. The birds have started using it, and I've even seen a robin perching on it to get the sunflower seeds. I've got mine hanging on a pole with a squirrel baffle underneath so they cannot climb up and get to it. Make sure you hang it out of range of jumping squirrels as they can quite jump quite long distances.

Feeding holes are too big with seed falling out. The threads on both the "bottle top" and filling port are not strong enough to hold. Had to glue the filling port to the base. Annoying but it just does the job.
