Good comprehensive kit. Easy fixing.
I had to fit this rail to a composite roof as opposed to to steel or aluminium. I had 3 rails. The kit came with self tapping screws with sealing washers and two drills of the correct size. The two drills is a good practice because they are so thin. I broke one drill so two is a good sign that these people are clued up. The self adhesive strips on the rails means it’s pretty easy to get the correct line and height whilst drilling and fixing. It also prevents movement whilst mounting. The end rails are nicely rounded and mating surfaces are accurate and neat. The self tapping screws that were provided were not strong enough tap into the composite roof even after using the drill provided. The heads rounded off or even sheared off. I think that the original screws they provided might've been ok in aluminium but the composite is around 8mm thick. The Kadar strip fits perfectly and no snagging on the joints. Running smoothly and freely my drive away kit now gives me the confidence to use the awning more often and not be the entertainment of the camp site! Yes, I would recommend this product but use appropriate screws.

good product let down by poor quality screws
comes in 3 sections. one section was damaged however only needed 2 pieces for my VW T5 SWB van screws are poor quality as heads snap off to easy. would pay more to have stainless steel screws aluminium finish good product

Off the rails with this rail
The rail is good quality - the fitting arrangements are poor. The drill is too small for the too small screws provided. 8 screws sheared. The self adhesive cannot cater for minor body curves and is a nuisance when repeatedly lifting, clearing sealant and re-drilling for sheared screws etc. I ended up re-drilling 24 holes for larger screws - but then there’s conflict with larger screw heads against the ‘C’ form of the rail. I had to cut out 1 section of rail to fit a nut and bolt. Be prepared for hours of frustration!!The rail is good quality - the fitting arrangements are poor.
