    Great value for money and DOES work (if used correctly)

    Amazing product and made quick work of the 7 post holes i had to dig. It is takes a bit more effort than using a shovel however is a lot quicker. Our area is quite gravelly around 4 inches under the soil, however if you screw a little at a time and remove any bigger stones you comes across, it works well. I cant comment on durability as only used it for this one job, however i believe it will last a while from what i have seen. Only criticism is the handle is only held in place by one screw, which did work loose after a while but just need to nip it back up again. I personally feel the bad reviews were left by people who may have been trying to remove too much soil in one go. As i say the key is to go down a few inches, bring it back out, remove the soil and keep going like ...

    Beyond expectations

    Thought that this was too good to be true. But, passed with flying colours, all 9 holes dug out with no problems. In fact now trying to find excuses to bore more holes!
