    Bit too much info

    It giver SO much in great detail, that I found it daunting. As a beginner I needed just the VERY basics. Wohld suit a dedicated beginner with much more time on hands than me. It covers all the basics in great depth. Plenty of exercises. Nice picture instructions. Good quality book.

    A good comprehensive book on guitar

    It’s not an easy book for beginners despite its title and despite starting off fairly easily - the problem is the acceleration is very quick but it is one of those books that has everything in you will ever need and is a great reference book for dipping into and learning something.

    Really good clear explanations buy it.

    This is my second copy of this my first copy fell to bits after ten years of being on taken on holiday and general use. I still refer back to it because it I teach other folks and its really good, funny and enjoyable.

    Some of the theory around music has left me floundering at times. This book helped greatly to de-mystify some aspects and left me thinking “dur! How did I not see that!?”
