As an HP laptop engineer I seen the G50 in Argos and thought I would give it a go but didn't expect much for the price. But I am really surprised and the quality and speed. It's light, fast and feels like it's bomb proof plus it has a DVD which heavier machines doesn't have. I upgraded to Windows 10 pro to get it on the work domain and it runs better than some newer laptops

this is a refurb, i have had this for two weeks now i use it every day and have had no problems so far, only fault i found is the system has a battery saver, with having no instructions i thought it faulty but not, i have bought refurb before and had no problems. i was told to buy a lenovo by a friend who has one, i am very happy with it. the battery lasts 6 hours from full charge running at the maximum speed so longer if just on internet etc

This is a substantial laptop and not light to carry around. It is quite substantially built although The keyboard is not very solid and depresses when you press the keys. This can cause mistyping and is a little disconcerting.. This is a value for money computer and performs well and has sufficient input and output connections. i cannot speak for battery life as Intend to use it connected to power.

I cannot tell you enough how much thus laptop was a real surprise when it arrived. The overall quality and speed is fantastic. The screen is bright and vivid and even with the 5800 tpm hard drive inside it was still nippy and nice to use.
