I have seen Les Miserables 5 times and I have never heard any songs sung in French and they do in this CD also played it on several players and it sometimes cuts out

Great version, new availability now very limited.
Now almost unavailable new, this 10th anniversary concert is the original cast, but with the music re-scored for the larger orchestra available for the special event, making it much fuller than the original show production (where the orchestra pit size was very limited). I prefer this to the 25th anniversary version (which I saw), largely because of Nick Jonas's Marius in the 25th. It's a larger production than the staged concert version (also very good), and of course there's something to be said for including the original cast. The encore is also quite special. For some time it's been my preferred recording, bought again new recently as a Christmas gift for my sister, who saw the show with me last year - hence discovering that it's difficult to buy as new stock.
