Bless This House Returns with Sid James and co and as always there laughs a plenty in this second series what's more don't be at all suprised to Sid James chatting up the Ladys !!! what else ...

Bless this House the series on DVD
6 series were made and all are available on DVD. A comedy sitcom that will still be enjoyed by future generations! In previous roles Sid James comes over as a jack the lad type character, a bit of a rough diamond. These came out in the carry-on films especially. In Bless this House Sid is a family man who loves his wife and home but struggles to understand his two teenage children. The comedy is gentle, Sid is very well supported by the lovely Diana Coupland who plays his wife. Sally Geeson plays his daughter and Robin Stewart his son. Sally also appeared in Cary on Abroad with Sid. There are no double meanings here but the many situations that the family find themselves in gives rise to comedy without the need to use sex or bad language to get a laugh. Excellent buy. Good vintage comedy from the 1970s. Would recommend this title, and the other 5 series.
