High brightness LED red 625nm 10mm ten pieces arrived well packaged with fast delivery. When using an equipment power supply out of situation on the bench, this chunky LED wired in series with a 1K ohm resistor across a 12 V supply, retrofitted inside the vented clamshell, provides an excellent power on indicator when viewed through the vent slots: not too bright.
