Had the previous model for seven years so was starting to get a little tired: full charge lasting about four days but still working well. Noticed the improved performance with this immediately. It was working faster and charge lasts for nine days of shaving. Also gives a better shave. Pity it doesn't work while plugged in; presumably to safeguard those who might try to use it plugged in whist in the bath/shower so the rest of us have to suffer as usual from health & safety overkill. So impressed I bought three for Christmas gifts and all delighted.

I’m very pleased with my new Braun 3080 shaver. It replaces my old 340 which is still working OK. However the motor is slowing down and the battery now needs charging more often, but hey is so old I can't remember when I bought it! In my opinion Braun make good shavers, I’ve been using them for 30+ years and this one is no exception. Happy to recommend!

With a minor change to the design of the trimmer I would give this shaver a five star rating. The trimmer is difficult to slide into position for use but does a good job when I manage to get it in place. Other than this annoying feature the shaver does a superb job and manages to get rid of the troublesome stray whiskers that the rotary shaver failed to deal with.

It shaves closely and holds a good charge on the battery. It looks good but the housing is all plastic and the build quality disappointing for a Braun. For comparable priced shavers I would however still recommend it as it does the job well.
