An excellent little hoover. I bought it to clean my car inside, for the price it is a hand little hoover to keep in the garage. It is really easy to empty. If you want a no frills hoover for the garage i would not hesitate to buy this. My advise if you buy one of these, although you can wash the filter, is to buy a second filter to keep to hand.

The lead is very short and needs an extension lead all the time unless you are fortunate to have an outlet beside your fire. The filter cartridge gets blocked quick quickly so now using a Henry hoover bag to make the filter last longer. Other than that, great delivery and it sucks well!

Light-weight vac with strong suction motor and ample capacity. We use it to clean our multi fuel stove which burns anthracite. The ash is very fine and dusty, like talc, with larger lumps of partially burnt material. This machine consumed the lot in quick order without any dust going into the air and hence into the sitting room which is the norm when cleaning by hand. Really impressed with its performance. The dust filter is a large cartridge type similar to a car air cleaner and easy to detach. We clean it by knocking it against the inside of the dust bin and then reattach it. Wish we’d bought one years ago. The vacuum arrived in a light cardboard box. Upon opening the box we found the vacuum to be slightly dented around the lid edge but this did not affect its function. There was no polystyrene or other protective material supporting the machine within the box.Read full review

The hoover does a good job in getting all the ashes out of the wood stove. The only problem is that the filter clogs up completely after cleaning the stove two times. Every time you have to get the filter out and get all the fine dust out of it. Dirty job !
