I used to use the cheap Argos model. This one splashes less (important with hot soup), circulates the soup in the pot (I had to push the old one), is silent and more powerful. Washing up is a breeze (switch it on for 5 secs in a square milk carton half filled with water). Bought a refurbished one, only the box was torn. One speed only but two necks with different diameters (which compensates). Came with accessories (no egg whisk though).

I received my item today and have just finished this delicious creamy vegan soup. I find it practical especially because being a vegan athlete, I must be in control of my diet and I wouldn’t honestly see myself eating some of these vegetables unless they are blended. Easy to use and to clean, not to mention its price. Thank you!

The basic handblender Is bigger and heavier than old-style all-in-one blender it replaced, but, it works really well, splashes a lot less (unless you're really careless), doesn't stain as it's metal, and is much easier to clean. Comes with a few attachments too which I haven't yet used, but look useful.

This is the best hand blender I have ever purchased. As I make soup twice a week it has made light work of it. I recommend using a heavy bottom steel pan, leave the soup to cool and it only takes four blasts of the submerged blender. Well done Bosch!

Love this. Especially as the smaller stick/blade fits in a mug which is ideal for beating an egg or putting stock cube and boiling water in a cup. It only has one speed but seems to be the right speed
