I bought this, to replace my existing one. That had a hole in the foil head, after years of usage. It looks great and came in shiny chrome, with the additional cutting head. Well worth the money, for the head and cutter. Very easy to fit both in seconds.

This is the old style cutter block with horizontal blades, seems to cut ok though. The foil is the same as the newer type. Good shaver, Braun quality.

These foils and cutters are getting scarce for the 5000 series range so if your razor is working buy a few. However, those in Boots and "shaver parts" all appear to have Arabic writing on the back but theses have Chinese/Korean on the back so personally I can't tell if genuine or not but the work as the original do when new but how long they will last is anyone's guess.

Confusing description meant that I ended up with the incorrect product which did not fit my Braun shaver. Only discovered when package opened and foil head did not fit. Cannot return as supplier will not take back an opened package so £26 out of pocket! Take care when ordering.
