Powerful compact driver, easy to use. Supplied with two batteries and charger. I have purchased a screwdriver bit holder/chuck to give some length as the small bits sit to close to the power tool. Impressive tool.

This is my second one of these, as an electrician (on new build sites) these are perfect for screwing up sockets, or fitting pendants etc. The brushes went on the first one, after 6 years. I bought the first one when I had a holiday to Florida, it was $99 the set inc 2 batteries and a charger, - about £65 at the time. The UK price is a good deal more but can't really do without it now, the next size up is too bulky to hang on the tool belt. Recommended.

These are beautiful little tools, small enough to get into tiny spaces (eg. across inside 300mm kitchen cabinets), light enough to use all day and strong enough to drive 5x100mm screws fully into softwood. The batteries last well and charge fairly quickly (the dedicated 10.8V charger which came with the original versions of this screwdriver worked twice as fast). The handle/trigger arrangement is comfortable and the LEDs on the tip are so helpful. Dewalt also need to wake up to the fact that these tools need screwdriver bits and there's nowhere in the case to store them - a foam insert with, say, 20 holes would really help. Or even a bit kit the shape of one of the batteries so it could fit tightly. Otherwise you end up with a loose pile of bits rattling around inside. This is the fifth DCF610 I've bought for my team and we all love them. I've run one of mine over in the van and it still works fine.Read full review

Seems a quality product. Works best with philips screws. Torque control effective. Use maximised by purchasing the Dewalt set of screwdriver bits and extensions. Able to complete jobs so much more quickly and easily than with hand powered screwdriver. Much more robust and powerful than last cordless one I owned which couldn't handle most jobs.

It is far too soon and presumptious to ask me for a review of this item because I am in the process of building up my tool list of which this item is merely my latest acquisition. I have also recently purchased 2 more tools, both made by DeWalt, and I have not used any of them yet. I have spent in the region of £800 on these tools because I have considerable faith in the quality, design and manufacture of DeWalt tools. Doubtless I will purchase more DeWalt tools. Bad points? Are there any? I suppose if I were to criticise DeWalt tools it would be their high purchase price but you have to pay for superior quality.
