Bought this tool as a stop gap. My old rotary tool was just about shot and Dremels were too expensive I’m a Yorkshireman!! However, this 135 Watt tool looked like something I could use in the short term. It certainly was not! I really wish I’d seen this tool sooner the specification was great as it took a range of gouge and drill shaft sizes. The 135watt power soon had me smiling. I hung it up in my shed to use the extended flex I shaft and it did all the carving I wanted without missing a beat. I bought extra gouge bits and completed, in my view, a lovely quotation on a three faces of an oak beam. As basically tight guy I am so pleased with my £24.95 spend that I went out and bought more bits. What a tremendous tool this is! I would recommend it to anyone wanting to have a hobby or even a serious tool for carving or lettering to get hold of one as soon as you can. An OUTSTANDING TOOL!Read full review

I was not sure what to expect for the price paid. I am however delighted with this drill. It is exactly what I wanted and has done an excellent job on the item I wanted it for . The accessories are also excellent and I was particularly impressed with the flexible extension, this has proved most useful.

Does everything I wanted from such a tool. With six speed settings and a flexible shaft it is very easy to handle. I have added a telescopic stand which clamps to my modelling work surface ( cost £5.95 from Silverline). Good value and well engineered. Very pleased with the purchase.

I bought this primarily for engraving on soft metals so the flexi shaft appealed to me. Despite the poor instructions, first impressions were good. I managed to figure out how to fit and change accessories without too much difficulty but they aren't particularly good quality. I bought some Dremel 105 engraving bits, which work much better, but after a couple of uses, the flexi shaft started making a horrible high-pitched grinding noise. A couple of drops of oil has resolved that (for now) but I'm not sure how long it will last. Should be OK for occasional use but for anything more I wouldn’t recommend it.

I bought this already knowing that the access for the task I had to perform was restricted and would not be possible with many other tools. The flexible extension performed exactly as expected making an otherwise impossible task possible. A great addition to the DIY/Garage Toolkit. I anticipate that this will get good use and pay for itself quite quickly.
