Very easy to set up. Nice clear touch screen. Clear navigation voice and good features The only reason I have not given this 5 stars is that you can only update the maps from a windows driven PC. I run an Apple Mac which is a bit inconvenient

Given a choice id go for a tom tom or garmin over this.find the speed camera function misses 70% of them , or tells you as your right on top of it. The map isn't very clear whatever option you choose, lack of detail on lane changes or slip roads. The only plus point is the large screen but id sacrifice that for a clear map, concise instructions and a decent speed camera function. I let the price rule and regret it

I am very pleased so far with the Binatone SatNav which I have used on several local journeys and one long distance. It was easy to set up and instructions clear. I feel however that the vocal directions should be at a louder volume than is presently the case, and I find the update procedure rather disconcerting. Generally though, a good product and value for money.

I bought this Binatone sat nav to use in my Hyundai - where the inbuilt sat nav lacks contrast and, by virtue of its low and centralised positioning, is rather difficult to read. I viewed that if it was successful I would also use the Binatone, in the future, in a replica car I am restoring. As it was a little bit of an experiment, I took advantage of a reduced price 'second', which - in my case - reduced the very reasonable purchase price even further. In my limited use, so far, I am very impressed with it. It lacks any frills like favourites, nearest petrol stations, etc, although I think these can be downloaded, if required. However, I don't use any of these additional features normally, anyway- as I just like a sat nav as a backup for navigation. It is basically a 'stripped back to essentials' sat nav - which is what I wanted. I have so far found it easy to operate and it tracks well, with clear screens in both 2D and 3D modes. I found I had to fiddle with the Template settings to get the best screen for me - but it does give several choices. I have used a lot of sat nav - both in cars and aircraft - many at large multiples of the cost of this one - and I have found this one particularly easy to use. Certainly, at this stage, I can say that I am very impressed with it and would recommend it as a well-made, no frills, large screen sat nav. TORead full review

Got this as a back up to my Tom Tom, can't fault it one bit, had the 2 running side by side in my job as a delivery driver and apart from the route difference both performed great, and the Binatone is nearly 4 time cheaper
