Excellent upgrade to the stock ceramic humbuckers that came in my Squire Sonic Mustang. Brighter sounding top end and when toned down with distortion give a nice warm fuzzy tone. Happy.

Vans on Alnico 2 57 Humbucker Set
Got these to replace a set of pups from a 1980 Burny Les Paul. I have to say, they were much better than the price would have you believe! Solid bass, well behaved mids & no screech in the highs in either neck or bridge positions. Not too hot which means they can do the clean thing very well which is what I was chasing. These pups replaced a DiMarzio PAF in the neck & a Seymour Duncan SH4 in the bridge & they sound far more articulate & vintage than the big names in this guitar. Vintage sound for very little money.
Fitted a pair to my Ibanez Af55 hollow body that came with high output ceramics for some unknown reason - what a difference! Clarity and depth without loosing that growl when you increase the pick attack. I was so impressed that I ordered and fitted another pair to my Harley Benton SC450 plus LP copy which is now my go to guitar. I have just ordered a pair of the alnico V '59s to try in my Chapman ML2, at less than £30 definitely worth a punt.Fitted a pair to my Ibanez Af55 hollow body that came with high output ceramics for some unknown reason - what a difference! Vanson ‘57 Alnico II Pickups
Absolutely love these. Bought them off the back of internet reviews (Vanson you really need to do your own YouTube reviews on your stuff it will take off) put them in an Epiphone SG G400 pro and it’s breathed new life into it. Also put a set of 59’ s in an LP style guitar and those are fantastic to. The quality of the pickups is as good or if not better than anything else I have nickel backed wax potted etc wiring diagram included is a bonus as is pickup ring with screws and springs. Highly recommend these. They sound as good as they look.Absolutely love these. Great pickups at any price point
These pickups are exactly what I was hoping for. A nice, clear and clean sounding set of alnico 2 humbuckers. They sound as good as any other vineyard PAF style humbuckers I've ever played. They are very well made and installed quickly and easily. They each have four conductor wire for all the wiring options you could want. For less than $50 USD including shipping, they were delivered to my door from the U.k. In 6 days. My only complaint was that they come pre-soldered to be wired in series with the ground wire for the base plate soldered to the lead wire for the second coil so if you want to do anything other than wire wiring the two pickups in parallel or do a coil split you'll have to desolder them yourself. Not a big deal, just a minor inconvenience for me. If you're looking do do ... These pickups are exactly what I was hoping for. A nice, clear and clean sounding set of alnico 2 humbuckers. Great pickup for a reasonable price
Bought these to replace the standard pickups on an old Vintage SG. Have used the coil split feature with a couple of push pull pots and have to say I am very impressed with the range of tones now available. Sounds like a much more expensive instrument.
