Recently started with DE razor...had no idea about what razor to use...so ended up buying a mekur adjustable..it was carnage..I was diced & sliced must have lost a pint of blood..😂😂..so after many reviews I bought the Edwin jagger...what a difference..no cuts very smooth and very easy to use...but beware .. there is big differences in the blades..the feathers are very sharp...too sharp for my skin I get irritation..but I use Astra blades they are brilliant...good shave with no irritation.

I own 90 plus old razors l rotate 6 new ones . The 89 is the best razor for a newby. You could happily use this as your only razor ,its that good. I use 2 adjustables. 1 open comb and 1 double open comb ,but keep going back to the 89 which never cuts using any make of blade, Wonderful engineering and plating .And very forgiving. Dont waste your money like me , Buy an 89 and you cant go wrong.

Great Razor, lovely quality gives a nice shave. Cannot believe DE shaving is better than the modern cassette or disable razors but it is.
