Easy to install, looks good and warms the bathroom up (4mx4m approx) pretty quickly. Our bathroom is at the end of a single story extension, so can be pretty cold initially in the winter mornings, so just the thing for those cold mornings when you don't need the heating on to heat the whole house. Only down side is that you have to preset the heater setting switch which is inside the heater casing, would prefer to be able to change wattage via external switch, but i guess you get what you pay for these days.

1700 watt heater sold as 2000 watt Switch inside set to 999w setting in the factory . It's not like older versions, it has minimal metal used for the grill ,used to provide thermal mass to improve output. Plastic case is bendy. Tiny relay now does all the big power switching ,instead of a big switch, half hour cutout is a pain.not adjustable it's hidden in circuit board. Only after using a power meter did I know it was on half setting, I just thought it was really that bad. On the low setting heat output would significantly drop after 10 or 15 mins less than what a jml handy heater would output 500w. Now it's on its highest setting I expect it to overheat and turn off at some point. I doubt I will try or even be able to repair this when it does fail. The last two different types of these IV had ingot an extra couple of years out of, this one's likely to be a buy a new one immediately. Delonge have really dropped the ball here. When set right to does kick out a good amount of heat. On low setting it makes a cone of cold air with a mildly warm bit in the middle. With some luck the circuitry does something to reduce the strain on the little relay, the contacts inside will be very small and not last long making and breaking 1.7kw . It works however everything about it shouts cost cutting ,I can squeeze the case and stop the fan ,perfect for stingey landlords, Quality level is slightly above what I'd expect from wish The cat like the box it came in. Edit, tonight it overheated in about 10 minutes.Read full review

For a start the unit comes without and connecting flex or mounting screws, poor. the unit has to be pre switched for one or two bars, our old unit had a cyclic switch making selection easy. We installed it set at two for a quick warm up but it thermally tripped out so we can only use a one kilowatt heat setting (one bar), so much for a fast heat up. The instructions warn of this in small bathrooms but it is a nuisance. The pull switch is not very positive. It's doing a job but not as I had hoped so only two stars.

Well made but you do have to take it apart to fit to the wall. When I did this the front grill fell off. You also have to set the heat settings one or two kilowatt. The temperature settings are just numbers one to three so you have to guess what heat settings you think you need. The manual says 18 to 35 degree so setting two must be around 25 degree, that is what I set mine at. Looks good on the wall.

This worked great for first few years, then the thermal trip cut-out started to wear out & now it switches off after around 8 minutes even on the 1KW setting, not good when your in a bath! Also the pull cord plastic connection attached to the cord & inside the unit snaps easily, it's literally a tiny piece of plastic but Dimplex think it's ok to charge around £13 for a replacement, clearly designed to break so they can make money selling new ones to you (I just super-glued it back together) I would NOT recommend this heater or brand!
