I find this unit has too much bass even with the bass knob turned down to minimum. Mind you I bought only the subwoofer and I'm using it with pioneer satellite speakers which may have different impedance to the original logitech satellites so you may find that original system doesn't have too much bass at all !

I've worked in one of the biggest computer retailers for a good period of time and beside Z5500 nothing beats this system. Some my complain about to much bass. Really? It has 200W RMS what do you expect, plus if you want to reduce the bass feel free to do it from your pc. I recommend this to anyone that want's a great system value for money. If you have the cash go for Z5500.
