The water pump in the kit does not include a seal on/for the pump, the pump should not be fitted with out a new seal. The water pump seal is not obtainable seperately from any other supplier, except a Main Dealer. This means extra expense and time to visit a Main Dealer who may or may not have a seal on the shelf. Firstly, MIster Auto should inform potential customers of a GATES kit that the water pump is without a seal.Secondly they should ask GATES why their water pumps are without a seal as other water pumps are always sold with a seal included. I think this is missinformation of the product. I have decided to keep the kit as its good quality and value and I have purchased a new pump with a seal.
