Quick Fix.
The replacement Briggs & Stratton carburetor resolved all my lawn mower issues, difficulty starting and surging while running. The carb kit was easy to install using a few basic tools. The mower started on the first pull, great kit!

Not useable
I rebuild a lot of mowers. This carb does not function well at all I tried it on 3 different engines just to make sure it wasn’t the carb. The primer bulb did not prime well. The screws did not seem to be the right thread for the tanks. It leaked gas around the gasket base. I was not happy with the quality at all. The mower was not able to run well enough to sell at all. Fixed my mower
The old gas tank with carb combo is no longer available cheaply, but no worries, this carb is very easy to install- just a few screws, a governor linkage, a crankcase vent and the mower ran after about a 10 minute repair.

Good as new!!!
Wow an oil change a new plug and this kit. This is Just like the one that came on it. My mower may run better now than when I got it.In Either case for less than 20 bucks and about 15 minutes spent with my son, my stuff starts on the first pull every time now. Cuts like a new one. I couldn't be happier and over 150 bucks saved. Thank you so much !!!!!
