My desktop PC was starting to get a bit flabby and slow. I decided to look into upgrading some components. For less than £100 I managed to obtain through e-bay a 256 GB SSD and these and these 4 X 2 GB RAM modules. The practicalities of performing this upgrade were so simple. Within literally a few clicks the job was done. I loaded a fresh install of Windows 7 and hey presto!!. It was like having a turbo. If your system has capacity to upgrade I would highly recommend you give this a consideration..

The items are NOT as described - Samsung and Hynix DIMMS are actually unbranded smaller physical size. While a good number do work, the failure rate is disturbing. Also shortages in the order. Accept that £10.00 ish is a lot less than £50.00 ish, but it may be a bad move!

Quality product, fully compatible with my AMD quad-core processor/motherboard. Improved system performance due to increased memory speed (533 to 800mhz).

Four 2GB sticks of DDR2-800 memory. Seem to be working fine (after a week of use and one memory test!). The sticks are of matching brand and specification which is an added bonus. Also a very positive experience with the supplier - quick communications and effort taken to deal with delayed delivery (due to snow).

Easy to fit but one chip is faulty. By swapping around some old chips was able to identify the bad chip. No returned as not worth the hassle. if i didn't has old chips I may have sent them back for replacement.
