    Cheap stripping pliers

    These stripping pliers are a cheep copy, I brought them a while ago as a second pair; they do not cut through wire when adjusted to do so, the wire just bends. However they do strip back outer sheath on cable. I have a pair that are 30 plus years old they look the same, but they do cut through wire when adjusted to do so.

    Don't buy for thin wires..

    This stripper is not well constructed, It might be ok for mains cable and larger, but for thin wires its rubbish, which to me was a disappointment. When closed the gap between the teeth is approx 2mm, which is poor, should be more like 0.1mm which would work for thin wires.
