Found it very good at depth finding on river. A bit heavy, so when it hits the water there's quite a commotion. I'd recommend considering not using it when fishing on smaller rivers but to map the bed on another occasion or at end of a session for future reference. It hasn't picked-up any fish yet but that's not necessarily bad thing as I didn't buy it for that. It picked up individual rocks in a swim that I could then avoid as well as weed growth.

Gps is no good. Pick up is slow and show you a mile or kilometres away from your location. Also shows the land behind you. After you cast it out. So you can't see area you are casting your deeper from. Another gadget with good tec that does not work. You cannot work out the bank your standing on. It maps the area behind you You will never get true readings You will never show your real location Need a lot of work on GPS It will give you an Idea But mapping your location is no good Also app runs slow and will freeze or keep turning off App also needs a lot of work Good luck if you buy this You will be disappointed

Only issue i have (bad points)is keeps disconnecting with WiFi at approximately 50m so going to order a WiFi booster connector very soon! But apart from that really amazing on the back of my Actor Bait Boat, seeing Drop offs ect and showing features that i did not know existed + Fish of course. So i would give it 8 out of 10 because of WiFi connection, would recommend to friends.
