This blew my mind im totally addicted to my kitchen gadgets and have wabted a mill for so long but wasnt sure if i should go for hand crank or electric. Went or this due to price and aa soon as i used it with its easy use and ridiculously solid construction i am condifent that for a verry snall amount this will last me a lifetime. Couldnt be more pleased

This is probably the only grinder one can use in the home for hydrated / moist grains. I am specifically talking about producing nixtamal / corn masa and this is very hard work by hand but home electronic grinders will not do the job at all. This grinder would be infinitely better at the job if it were made of stainless steel rather than the almost soft cast metal. All of the adjustable fixtures need to be very strongly secured, but they easily break when tightening. The grinder is also not easy to clean which is acceptable, but it is very hard to stop rust building up after a thorough clean, which makes it even weaker.
