Brush motor for Dyson DC24 Animal
This is a brush motor that I have bought for my DC24 Animal. easy to order. Arrived quickly and was fitted easily. What can I say? After 30 mins use, it still works. I hope it works for a lot longer yet. I don't believe it is classed as the original part as the part markings are different. The part is reportedly made in the same factory as the original. What makes this different to the original motor? I don't know. All I can say is that the original part motor lasted around 5 years and when I think about it...doesn't actually seem very long to me if I were to convert this in to hours used, based on a small 3 bed semi. I expect better from a electrical motor. Hopefully, this one will last a bit longer. I've given this one 4 stars as the reliability is unknown at the moment. Otherwise this ... Had to modify to make work with DC24 all floors
cheaper than new Hoover and fixed problem but more work than expected. Description said works with DC24 all floors but actually doesn't fit the brush bar. New one had extra bit on it sticking out too long which does not come off on original one so had to dismantle assembly as pictured, extract just motor and replace in old one.

Good price with quick delivery. Easy to fit (altho did have to change the end piece and use the existing one to be able to fit brush bar properly but was aware from other reviews that this may be the case). A feeling of satisfaction was achieved that I was able to repair my vacuum cleaner for under £20 rather than have to pay out several hundred for a new one

Dyson DC24 brush roller motor replacement.
A good quality replacement part after our Dyson DC24 brush bar motor packed up. Easy to fit after looking up instructions on how to do it on the internet. Make sure you have Torx T8 and T10 screwdrivers or keys before you take the brush bar assembly to bits. Good value way of repairing our Dyson DC24 vacuum cleaner.
