I had to buy these two films again. I had lent my video copies out to friends or family, could not remember who I'd lent them too, and have never had them returned. It didn't take long for us to miss these two great films, and so I bought them in DVD format this time, so that I can at least make backup copies to avoid this happening again! Rush Hour is just too good to miss. A brilliant, thrill-a-minute adventure, with a great plot and plenty of laughs. Jackie Chan (Chief Inspecter Lee), in top form with his quaintly unique sense of humour, and his sensational slap-stick type of fighting technique, and top stand-up comedian, Chris Tucker (LAPD detective, James Carter)team up (reluctantly) to assist the FBI in a kidnapping case, (much to the FBI's annoyance). Once you've seen Rush Hour, you'll just have to get Rush Hour 2! The action this time is in Hong Kong, and the two mismatched detectives team up once more to solve another big case, involving the smuggling of high-grade counterfeit banknote. If you think the second film couldn't match the first; you're wrong! It's excellent! With the usual extras, outtakes and deleted scenes, meet the cast, and some 'extra' extras, kung Fu choreography, Jackie Chan's Hong Kong, culture clash - you certainly get value for money, and will not be disappointed. My only gripe here is that Rush Hour 3 will not be released until 2007.....Read full review
Although not into "Kung Fu " type movies i was pleasantly surprised at this interpretation of them.Excellent fight scenes and even more excellent comedy, well worth a look and even a good storyline not just "ooh ahh" action getting nowhere.I could go on praising for 3226 more characters but the best way is to judge for yourself, and of course write your own review.
