This Canon ixus is a solid little camera and is easy to use, it produces good images even when using the zoom thanks to the 3X IS lens.

I bought this to replace the one stolen with my husband's car. He wanted one like mine that has a view finder which can be used separately from the screen. This is so much better for the eyes in bright sunshine. It is one of the only compact cameras available to have this facility. If you want greater zoom you have to use the screen which is the only drawback that I have found with my own one so far. I do not believe that later models of Canon have viewfinders which was why I was so pleased to find one on EBay. It is light and small and easy to carry around in a handbag or coat pocket. It takes very clear pictures too.

I encourage my daughter to go for this camera having bought the model before it and found it to be a fantasic quality product. She decided to take Dad's advice and had the camera for less than 2 weeks when a kind soul decided to mug her in Spain. The insurance payout didn't cover the cost of a replacement so we looked on ebay and found a refurbished one from Canon with full warranty -result. Good price fast delivery and aside from a slightly scruffy box the camera was as good as new and pink ta boot. We get photos from my daughter every week and she loves the camera, it's easy to use and takes the picture she sees which she didn't get from her old camera. They are going to discontinu this camera so grab one before they do.
Its a fantastic compact high quality camera at such a good price with Lovely design. It is very easy to understand the instructions. Excellent results, nice clear instructions, simple settings, small and light, battery life excellent. Great camera from a top seller at a great price.
