I had to do a miniature repair job on this Item. The USB input needed a tweak with a screw driver as the soft metal surround was bent. Hope the seller sees this before they sell in case of an awkward customer. Works brilliantly on my IMac bet £3 i spent in ages its helped me out no end. I needed to erase Compact flash cards. Buy it

This item is dangerous. My SD card was only plugged in it for a few minutes before the SD card and card reader became too hot to touch, it was only plugged into a laptop running on battery power, I dread to think what could have happed if it had been plugged into a desktop on full mains electricity power.
