Really good and though they don't look expensive it covers the light bulb and gives off a more ambient light than just a naked bulb. Its perhaps not something that you'd be proud to show of, but it looks good and a lot better than nothing. You've got to be careful as you have to stretch the shade out (it comes flat) and fit a metal support into it to hold its shape. I can imagine it breaking quite easily if this is rushed. It is paper after all. You also have to hook it onto the light cable in such a way that it is supported on both sides to essentially 'grab' onto the cable. One of my hooks snapped as I was trying to adjust it for a slightly thicker cable but it still works ok. Overall I am very pleased with this item.

Plenty of light given through the shade from the 5 watt Led bulb used and has acceptable looks. It comes flat packed and folded in the A4 envelope. I had slight difficulty unfolding due to a spot of glue and this caused a small tear in the paper. It is very light in weight and some care is needed to position the shade to hang squarely.

This style of lamp shade can be used in any room to great effect. The smaller the shade, the smaller the aperture at the bottom of it can mean that getting the light bulb inside can be fiddly, depending on the style of bulb; generally, these shades are easy to fit and will give a lovely soft, diffused light in any room. Also, they will fit in with practically any and every style of decor, no matter what the colour scheme is. These shades are so versatile and so reasonably priced that you can afford to mix and match them by using varying sizes/colours (or different coloured light bulbs). I think they're great value for money and really enhance the lighting in any room.
