This is a very smart looking cooker hood. Very simple controls, just down light on/off and three speed fan selector. Very easy to use and to install. Internal and external airflow selectable. Easy clean aluminium filter. Very nice aluminium casing. Comes with adequate fixtures. That's all the positive points which out weigh the one negative point....the unit is noisy. On speed setting 1 it's not too loud but on 3 it's loud. Let's not forget though that it is powerful and does a very good job for the price. I can put up with noise over a steamy kitchen anyday. Currently being used on internal airflow, but will fit outside venting before the winter.

A basic cooker hood but good value , does what is required. not quiet but not too noisy either I have it set up on the recirculation mode, so cant comment on how well it would work on the extract mode . Comes with rawlplug type fixings with screws but I reinforced the fixing with spreader plates . Overall I was pleased with the product.

The first thing that has to be said about this cooker hood is that it IS stainless steel, with a very nice, shiny, brushed finish. After looking at the pictures in the auction I was a little worried that it might turn out to be some kind of "painted" finish but my concerns were unfounded. The pictures don't do it justice. Yes, it's a fairly basic unit but it's obvious that the cost has been kept low by keeping to a simple design rather than by manufacturing it shoddily. Internally, the fan unit seems to be of similar quality to other cooker hoods I've seen. Certainly no worse. There are some sharp return-edges inside the unit so you need to be careful to avoid cut fingers while installing it - and possibly when removing the filters to clean them or changing the bulb in the light - but in normal use the exterior finish is perfectly acceptable. In use, it does a very good job of getting rid of the steam from pans of boiling veg' and from fried food etc so the fan inside it is obviously up to the job. In fact, I'd say it works better than the Creda unit that it replaced. Overall, for a simple, straightforward, cooker hood, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this product at all. It's cheap because it's a really simple design and it doesn't have any fancy features or controls which more expensive items have.Read full review

I’m really happy with my purchase. It’s quite loud but it doesn’t worry me as I know it works. Was so easy to install and put up within 10 minutes. Fits perfectly under my cupboard and doesn’t take up much room. This was a graded product so I spent under £30 on it, there is nothing wrong with it apart from one rusty screw which can be easily changed.

Bought as a direct replacement for a failed unit, was a delight to fit. Exactly 600mm wide with vents at both the back and top with plastic covers supplied to cover the outlet not used. Full fitting kit with extractor hose, screws and rawlplugs (4). Light on/off can be operated independently of fan, so you can just have the light only. Single SES bulb (supplied) is bright and can be replaced with Halogen or LED if required. Real METAL mesh filter, unlike many at this price which are paper. Looks a million dollars, brushed steel with bright chrome buttons. Great value. Highly recommended.
