Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Save on Lawn Aerators
Assuming you have the patience to aerate you lawn this way (it is a very slow process, good for tiny areas only in my opinion) then be prepared to change out the straps. They are completely worthless, do not have the olding power to keep tight on your feet. I had a roll of velcro (purchased locally at Harbor Freight, pretty inexpensive) and made straps out of that. It works, but like I said walking in these is a tedious process. My soil is very dry as I do minimal watering due to drought, so at 170 lbs. I'm barely heavy enough to make these spikes work and it's not easy.... A bit of a workout!

Great item-works great as long as you strap the shoes on tight. You will get a workout, and aerate your lawn at the same time. Wet the lawn down first, and it will be a lot easier to extract the spikes. Sprinkle again after aerating. The seed and fertilizer will work much more efficient after spiking. I like the workout, too!

These aerators stick to the soil and come off your feet ,the lacing for the shoe is inadequate , if the spikes release from the soil you probably don't need this item , save your money and rent a real aerator from a garden center .

However the strap/belts did not hold good enough...Had to replace with ordinary belts.

mow and bag the clippings then walk the lawn and you are set. Best to do 2 or 3 cycles of this if it has been a while.
