Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Trainers & Rollers
After alot of reading reviews and watching youtube videos I decided the kinetic fluid was the best. I saw this advert for a reconditioned kinetic 2.0 Bluetooth on ebay for a much cheaper price than what I think is an overpriced new one. What arrived was quite a bit different. It was a beaten up box of green bars and a fluid turbo trainer motor. The bars looked totally different to the picture and they totally were. What I had received was the rock and roll model which although a more expensive model takes up a huge space and wasn't what I wanted living in a flat. The box of beaten up bars came with no instructions and took me ages to put together. After it was finally together I noticed that the magnet in the Bluetooth device was missing. Not too bothered as I probably won't bother with that side of it. All I can say is that after all that the actual workout isn't that good. Its ok but the resistance is like going along a nice flat road, you can peddle faster in a harder gear but its still too easy. I would have sent it all back but I had to join a ship for work and couldn't get my head around sending all 30kg of it back. Stuck with a huge machine I will probably hardly use.Read full review

Really great trainer but it doesn't connect to my android phone so I can use it with the Bluetooth connectivity which is pretty crap as all of the great features like training programmes and sensors work through this connection

Really easy to set up although we had to change the digital battery as the one in the unit failed Initially connected to Zwift on Microsoft laptop using the Zwift Companion app on an Applie iPhone 6s as a bridge and all worked fine. Subsequently failed so bought a cheap ANT+ dongle - no luck Using a SMART tv and connecting direct to Zwift via my iPhone and mirroring on TV works a treat! No problems and reliable connection The unit works really well - not resistance based in the sense that it doesn't alter when you are climbing on Zwift but going up through the gears to change wattage output it responds really well. Not entirely realistic as I can achieve over 200w sustained output and 40+mph speeds on Zwift which would never happen in the real world; that said, it is easy to set up and very sturdy. Lifetime warranty once registered and online help when required. Definitely worth the moneyRead full review
