I've used this grip over the past few weeks and it was very reliable. I have see some reviews on youtube, saying it's got some weak points. If you keep removing the grip to change the second battery some of the fixing can be damaged. This is not a problem for me. I have removed the battery from the camera, before fitting the grip and will not be taking it off again. I am happy using it with just the battery in the grip. I love the feel of it and it looks good on my camera. I have tried it with my camera strap fixed to the tripod mount, I think this would put to much strain on its fixing over time with a nikon 7100 and a 300 lens hanging from it. For the price what can you expect.

The Neewer is a cheaper version of the Nikon MB-D15 and it comes in at a tenth of the price of the original Nikon which is pretty amazing. It all works perfectly apart from the multi selector button on the back. The button just isn't the same quality and doesn't allow you to move the focus point around the screen which is a real shame because I us that function a lot. Apart from that its fine.

The Grip has many bonuses to know about firstly it has two Battery Compartments one the same as the existing camera on board battery acting as a backup or 4xAA rechargeable type Batteries in two seperate slide-in racks. Secondly the grip is as good as the body and has a screw mounting for tripods etc. Thirdly it easily removes from the base and the main reason for myself is with a 150-500mm Lens on the body the extra power needed takes the worry away of power consumption drain when autofocussing and multiply shooting.

Bought this Neewer Battery Grip for my Nikon D7200, and I have to say it's very good. It fits perfectly, works a treat, feels solid in the hand and has non - slip rubber coating. It looks, feels and performs just the same as the Nikon Grip, but at a fraction of the cost. It even has a detachable rubber gromit for the provision to use a battery pack coupler, which I'm pleased about as I have one!! So for the money it's excellent, and I'm really glad I bought it.

Only had this for a short time but first impressions are that it's very good product, especially considering the price, (less than one-tenth of the OEM version). Fit to the camera is OK and it functions as it should in all respects. It's probably not as robust as a Nikon original but seems to be perfectly adequate for occasional/amateur use.
