This is my second kettle my first one lasted a over 6 years, and because of the all metal design was very easy to keep clean and looked good. Has different temperature settings which are handy for different types of tea. It is expensive but I found it worth the money.

I saw this at someone's house and instantly decided I had to have one. Very cool design, sturdily built (nice and heavy), but most importantly - it boils water really quickly. It also has the option to heat to 85 degrees - the temperature supposedly some specialist teas and coffee needs to be for the optimum brew - very clever but not useful for someone like me who would rather boil the water and then let it cool a little. This brings me to the final and most exciting feature - there is a display which tells you the actual temperature your water is ! (within the nearest 5 degrees) This brings me to the only drawback of this kettle - you tend to watching the temperature go up (and down after it's boiled). All in all a very classy kettle, with a price tag to match, but well worth the extra "coppers". I won't "spout" on any more about it, for fear of driving you "potty" (See what I did there..)Read full review

After our Bosch temperature control kettle started to leak from the bottom after 4 years of constant use, I wanted a similar kettle but not Bosch, where you can click on buttons to control the temperature. So I picked this kettle and I have had it about 2 weeks now and I am very happy with it. Easy to pick up from the base, comfortable handle, has an open button to open the lid, so easy to fill up. This kettle has an 85 degrees button and then you can press the + button to go up in increments of 5 degrees. It also has the 100 degrees button. It constantly shows you what the temperature of the water is inside the kettle. When on at the mains it has a light blue light across the button control area and the water level indicator area, which is nice but seems a little bit of a waste of electricity to have this constantly lit up. So I do turn this off at night. The instructions are good. I like the tip that to stop it scaling it is best to leave the kettle empty when not in use, So I empty it every night as we live in a very hard water area. There is a lime scale filter on the spout which is easy to remove and wash and put back in. Yes you will get a few water marks and thumb prints on the actual outside kettle as it is brushed steel but overall I am very happy with this.Read full review

I was replacing the same kettle that we had had for a few years. I like the look of this kettle and it boils quickly and quietly too.
