New unit was an updated version of the previous unit, well made and a direct replacement so fitted within seconds. The unit is sealed so no repair of the old one was possible. Well worth purchasing IF you are sure this is the cause of your issues. This part may well have been replaced by a guessing engineer at a greater cost plus labour, this saved me not only piece of mind by many pounds.
